Reconnect. Reimagine. Reinstate.
Are you confused why life isn’t more fulfilling? Do you feel “I’m not enough”- leading to working harder to reach your high standards for yourself. Your strong, active self-critical voice is your own worst enemy- keeping you stuck in those patterns of demanding too much from you and asking too little from others. You see relying on others as a sign of weakness. We’ll get to the root causes so you can more easily show up with your best parts. If you experience dissatisfaction in self or current circumstances, long for something more, I can help.
I work well with the man who’s disconnected from his emotions and distrustful of them. I’ll deepen your emotional intelligence to lead to greater understanding and tolerance of your thoughts, emotions, and circumstances. My calming presence and ability to get to the core issues are qualities I bring to partner with you for the growth you expect to see.
You’re embarking on hard work that will take time. I understand. Yet just a little bit of positive movement brings great relief. I will help you have healthier self-regard so you stop judging yourself and accomplishments harshly and begin to view yourself honestly. I have, and continue to do my own internal work; I’m in the “growth work” myself, I get it.

Rekindle. Redirect.
My specialty is helping unfulfilled and overwhelmed professionals find meaning, connection, and authenticity in their lives. I left New York for the Deep South when I was 11 years old and then moved back North in my early 20s. I know the challenges that come from navigating early adulthood, especially after a transition. I take a person-centered approach- recognizing my clients as the experts of their life experiences. I then layer in my counseling expertise to bring hope and healing to your life.
In my work I seek to empower individuals to accomplish their mental health and wellness goals. As someone passionate about cultural humility and spirituality, I am a member of the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling. Our cultural backgrounds and social identities hold great significance in our lives and I invite my clients to explore those parts of themselves with me to more fully understand one’s story. Whether you’re feeling unfulfilled or overwhelmed, I am here to help you experience greater calm and fulfillment.

Rediscover. Reintegrate.
As your therapist, I’ll work to help you align with your values and utilize your strengths to find meaningful, lasting change. The first 18 years of life I lived in Maryland, then went to college in Ohio, and afterwards I went to pursue my dreams in NYC. I’m an accumulation of Mid-Atlantic, Midwestern, and Big City cultures- forming who I am and how I see the world. With my previous lives as a performer, a writer, and E.M.T., I understand the hard work to discover what stands in our way for a life aligned with our personal values and authentic self.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the understanding that our personal and interpersonal challenges may have roots in our earlier life experiences. By exploring patterns, we can understand how your past influences your present- even when we’re not aware of it. I fully align with the values of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion both in and out of the therapy room. Your identity is a vital and valuable part of who you are. We’ll work together to explore and discover these aspects of yourself in a supportive, collaborative environment.
